Pogostemon erectus is an ethereal-looking stem plant from India. With a stocky, annulated stem and thin, wispy leaves this plant is unmistakable. It grows larger than its more popular cousin H. helferi and is a good choice for a background plant, or as an eye-catching stand in the mid-ground. While it is not an incredibly difficult plant, H. erectus definitely benefits from high light and CO2 injection.
